AP: FEMA Chief Waited Until After Storm Hit

"The government's disaster chief waited until hours after Hurricane Katrina had already struck the Gulf Coast before asking his boss to dispatch 1,000 Homeland Security employees to the region - and gave them two days to arrive, according to internal documents."

Sorry to state the obvious, but this disaster was imminent at least two days BEFORE Katrina made landfall. Michael Brown should sit in a prison cell for a long time, forced to write "I will not procrastinate" 1,000 times each day on wet paper with a wax crayon.
