Yesterday was the best day of my life in a long time (save for Xavier's zeroth birthday of course).

With help from our moms, each of whom took one of the kids off our hands so we could finish unpacking and moving furniture, cleaning and otherwise setting up the house, we managed to have the house in entertaining form by 5:30 when guests arrived!

Even with the cleaning that was going on Cheryl still found time to cook a great pork roast and other good eats. Some of our guests brought food as well. We had a great dinner, enjoyed the company tremendously, and overall had a wonderful time.

Later in the evening, Shane, Justin, Greg and I started playing Boggle (which Steve is guilty of getting me addicted to ;-)). Again, a lot of fun with friends and family.
