I'm sure people are getting sick of hearing about my golfing, but I went again today. (as I wrote this, today became yesterday. I golfed on Sunday)

Today was special because we went with Alex and Ruth, our very close friends -- their green fees were their anniversary gift from us, since we couldn't come up with anything useful. :-(

It was the first time Ruth ever golfed! We all took lessons last year, but Ruth never actually played a round. We went to The Ridge at Cordova Bay. (new site!)

Ruth is really good at golfing, beating Cheryl by 2 strokes, and Alex by 4. Both have played golf lots in the past.

It was also the best round I've played all year. 37 on a 9 hole par-3 course. One 6, two 5s, the rest 4s and 3s. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get another birdie, I've blown so many chances! I've only made one birdie -- at Henderson, the hardly-a golf course, last year.

Now that the weekend is over, I'm sure this site will revert back to less-golf, more-of-everything-else... until next weekend!
