Start school later to improve grades

August 2, 2000

USAToday: Districts snooze on teen sleep Costs, outside activities and student resistance keep high schools answering the early bell -- quite a quandry. When I was in highschool, I would have loved to start school later each day. Whenever I had the opportunity to schedule my courses that way, I did.

Getting up at 7 AM is just not something I can do. 9 AM, that I can do.

Thanks for Faisal for pointing me to this article.
