I have searched hi and low, and I can't find a decent Java class browser anywhere. By decent, I mean that when you select a class, it shows you the properties of that class, AND the properties of its superclasses, so that you can see the class as a whole.

I've downloaded and tried IBM VisualAge for Java Entry Edition (which was almost there except it wouldn't import the classes I wanted to look at), Borland JBuilder Foundation, and Sun Forte for Java CE, and I still can't find anything usable.

WHY?! Smalltalk has great class browsers, as does Objective-C. Considering how big Java is, I expected to find a dozen quality class browsers.

Amazing.

If you've found a decent class browser for Java, I'd LOVE to hear about it!
