It's _easy_ to install a Subversion Server on Leopard

Sonzea.com: Installing a Secure Subversion Server on Leopard

These instructions are complete, easy to understand, they WORKED the first time, what a great find.

What's really nice is how little you have to install yourself to get this working. Leopard (client) comes with Apache 2 and Subversion 1.4.4 so all there is to it is a little bit of simple configuration. Getting TRAC set up as well is just a bonus.

TV shows added to iTunes in Canada

In the last few minutes, Apple added TV shows to the iTunes Store in Canada. It's about friggin' time!

First thing I checked out was the Stanley Cup Classics. :-)

(obviously)

Sucks to be knee

Just got my MRI results. My ligaments are fine, and apparently the issue is my kneecap which is: too small, irregularly shaped, and the cartilage between it and my femur is irregular and rough.

I'm told surgery won't help because all they can do is smooth out the cartalige and that means "leaving a divot" and that would weaken things more.

Great. So now I have to take some amino acids to help the cartalige and do physio to make my leg muscles stronger. And maybe that'll help.

Oh, and I'm supposed to stop wearing the knee brace 'cause my ACL is fine and that's what the brace is designed to compensate for.

So, I'll try to get on the physio pronto so I can get back to playing hockey.

Wii have a Wii down, I repeat, a Wii down

My Wii's optical drive do-nee work. Unable to read disc, it says... for all discs.

Thankfully I registered my Wii on nintendo.com and received an extra 90 days of warranty free, so my Wii is still under warranty and will be heading to Richmond (a suburb of Vancouver, BC) tomorrow via Nintendo's Purolator account.

2007 has not been a good year for white console reliability - first the 360, now the Wii. Let's hope it doesn't take them over 2 months to get the Wii back like MSFT did with the 360.
