Free at last

It's DONE!

And thus ends at least 20 straight days of work, where I put in over 200 hours. Probably closer to 250 hours, +/- 20.

No, I'm not kidding. Yes, I'm completely burned out.

Just do it

I have a friend who has a dream to leave his abusive job and do what he does self-employed.

He's really good at what he does and his clients have said they'd follow him whereever he went.

In my opinion, he has everything he needs to start (not just skills but other things like connections, etc), but he's apprehensive. Confidence, fear, timing, i don't know what it is. He really wants to do it but needs a kick in the pants.

If you've been down that road, and it worked for you, please, let him know how it went, if you'd do it again, what to do and not do it, what to look out for, etc. Or e-mail me, and I'll forward your message to him.

(By the way, he's agreed to this being posted here, he's not uncomfortable with it, he's looking forward to the response)

Thanks!

Long-time agent splits with Gretzky

That sucks. Wayne Gretzky's agent was bullied into leaving Gretzky because people were screaming conflict of interest. They were concerned about Barnett representing an owner and players. Of course I can see the conflict, but that's a special 21 year relationship down the drain. That, sucks.

Long-time agent splits with Gretzky -- "Every two weeks he brings me stuff to sign for charities and hospitals and stuff like that," he said. "Now, we don't know what he can do for me and what he can't do. We're kind of in disarray at this point. It's crazy because I still don't own the team. That's what I don't understand.

"That's what the league and PA wanted. They wanted this decision and unfortunately, I have to suffer the consequences."

"Pat yourself on the back," she said.

Just demoed the CMS to my customer, and they're really happy with it. Pretty soon things will be back to normal.
