Tennis anyone?

I really want to play tennis today. I haven't played since Wednesday, which was cut short 1/2 way through a set. I've been burning to play ever since.

If you're a tennis player in Victoria, please contact me if you want to play today.

Tennis with Cheryl

I got to play tennis afterall, with Cheryl. First match with my new strings -- it's like night and day. If you haven't had your racquet strung in months or years, and no matter what you can't hit shots where you're trying to put them, get your racquet re-strung. It's amazing.

Becker reborn?

Vladimir Voltchkov reminds me of Boris Becker.

He wasn't much trouble for Sampras, but he was diving for balls and trying his best. Look for him in the future, I think.

d20: D&D OSRPG

WotC is open-sourcing D&D. Not new news, but very cool to read about in detail, nonetheless. :) (via Camworld)

FUCKING BULLSHIT

This is 100% total bullshit.

Todd McFarlane has lost a $24.5M lawsuit against St. Louis Blues hockey player Tony "dumbass" Twist over the "use of his name" -- there is a mobster villian named "Antonio Twistelli" in the Spawn comic book.

"McFarlane, an Edmonton native, said he had been concerned over a jury instruction that allowed the panel to give no consideration to whether the hockey player looks like the fictional Twist, a heavyset mobster."

Next thing you know, all the Peter Parkers in the world are going to sue Marvel comics, and all the Bruce Waynes are going to sue DC. Oh, and all the Drew Careys will sue ABC, and so on.

What suprises me most is Twist is Canadian -- Canadian's typically aren't known for being sue-happy.

24.5 MILLION dollars? That's more than he'll ever make playing hockey, which is proof to me his name's not worth that much.

The Hunger Site

Hey cool, I just went to The Hunger Site, and low and behold, look at the URL:

http://www.thehungersite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/HungerSite

The Hunger Site is now run on WebObjects too!

I've added the link banners for The Hunger Site and The Rainforest Site to the sidebar in the template for the weblog pages.
