"Call me When the Oilers win", said Jim.
I guess I am not calling him back tonight. :D
Man what a rough game that was.
But that is what you expect for the "Battle of Alberta."
See you in the playoffs... ;) |

VoodooPad is for real (archived)

I'm addicted to VoodooPad after using it for only two days. This afternoon I hit the limit of 15 pads for the unregistered version, and the application popped up a dialog to tell me so.
I immediately clicked the button to go register my copy, and bought two licenses. A few minutes later I had my registration number entered and I was able to continue expanding my VoodooPad document.
If you haven't tried it out yet, please do. It's such an intuitive and useful application. I'll sure I'll continue using OmniOutliner for structured writing, but the live Wiki mode is really great for me stream of concious writing and building up an organized (but unstructured) set of information, which is a mode I work well in. |

have browser, will travel (archived)

I registered havebrowserwilltravel.com yesterday - better late than never I guess. I didn't want someone else to grab it and do nasty things with it like Cam said someone did with camlist.com. The domain won't be visible for a couple days still. You might as well save bandwidth and use this shorter domain anyway ;-) |

Well one thing that my mom always taught me was to be proud of my heritages, the Chinese and the others.
Sure some people are Chinese, some are English, and others, but I was 1/2 Chinese, 1/4 Russian, Danish, Finnish, Spanish, Swedish! All of them are special and all of them can give me something special that I can feel part of more people. Sure people can be of one heritage, but I was special because so many people came from all over the world so that I could be the special person that I am!
And best of all, I am Canadian, and I can embrace and be proud of where I came from! :D
It is going to be cool one day when I have kids because to that heritage will be added a South African connection. ;)
So you can tell her that uncle Andrew is half Chinese too, but he is much more and has a lot of which to be proud. He and her sister and Cyan and her brother has mommys and daddys with family from all over the world that came to make us! :D
uncle Andrew. |
