Netflix just showed me “TV Shows & Movies You’ve Liked”. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022) was there. Oh yeah, I watched that this year!

7/10 on IMDB. A reasonable rating but I’d go a bit higher. Honestly, one of my surprise hits of (my) year. Nicholas Cage and Pedro Pascal were great together.

Despite recent history, this isn’t becoming an entertainment blog. Never mind that it’s been almost 8 years since I’ve written about anything of substance tech-related, it’ll come.

By the way, I seriously can’t believe I’m still using Jekyll on GitHub. Just gross. Over 25 years since I started this blog, and the tools I’m using now are frankly way worse than the ones I was using in 2001.

That could be a future blog topic… how computer software quality peaked in the 90s, and the web ruined everything. :hottake:
