iTMS Canada is open, finally

It's been a long and frustrating wait, but finally the doors are open on the iTMS in Canada.

I just bought the only Tragically Hip album that I don't already have. $9.99. Cheaper than I could get it on CD, and all I'd do with the CD is rip it into iTunes anyway, so it's a good deal.

I'm looking for a Green Day song I like now.

  1. Well, I hope that the store is flushed out a bit more.
There are a lot of artists, but with no songs to go with the artists.

A bit disappointed with the Classical section.
They need more than just one record of some pieces, as some are better than others.

Need more singles too. I guess this will all come with time.

Nice that the stats are going to be based on Canadian purchases though.

Is there a way to submit artists and albums for requests?

Well, I now have Nelly Furtado’s two disks and a couple of songs from Sixpence None the Richer.

    coolies.

Hm, the only thing I couldn’t find is Metallica. I don’t know if it’s
on the other stores. My guess is they don’t have all the labels in
    there yet.

I’m pretty happy about it, so what if it’s not perfect on the first day.

As soon as I got in, I IM’d my friends who work on the store and
    thanked them.

    Thank them for me too.
