A couple days ago I suggested that Conversant might be the only system that can generate RSS from mailing lists.

I forgot about Yahoo! Groups... it's possible to make an RSS feed from a list there. Like this one for the NNW list.

Unfortunately, it sucks, the item titles are the name of the poster rather than the subject line. (I was going to mention how it also sucked the body of the message wasn't in the description of the items, but then someone threw an egg at my face ;-))

I still think Conversant has the most customizable RSS feeds whose content originates from a mailing list.

And soon (RSN) it'll have the most customizable feeds from weblogs too.
