Satellite Internet Service for Macs?

Slashdot reader comment: Satellite Internet Service for Macs?

Are you a shareholder of Hughes? If you were, would you want them spending 3+ million dollars a year on software that _might_ get 5000 subscribers at under $70 a month?

Um, dumbass: $70 * 12 * 5000 = $4,200,000

Let's say it's a $3.5M / year expense. To break even you charge $58.33 a month. If you charge a normal looking fee like $59.99, you make $99,400.

If I'm a shareholder of Hughes, do I wan them NOT making $100,000 profit while expanding their client base?

Mike Ulmer, Toronto Sun: How can anyone explain Gordie's pain?

A very sad story about the health of Colleen Howe. The heart breaks to read it. What a terrible situation.
