ePrairie is gullible, Apple phone hoax

ePrairie: Apple, Motorola Avert Confirmation of Unannounced Cell Phone

"A picture can tell a thousand words. Leaked to the right place at the right time, some pictures of some products can even tell a story of a new venture by an unsuspecting company that has decided to silence the word."

Where to start with how stupid this article is. Well let me start with the "photograph" they have. It's clearly not a photograph but a computer rendering, for one. And the Apple logo is drawn with the stem pointing in the wrong direction, leading me to believe the picture actually comes from one of the web sites that collects fan-created Apple designs.

An Apple phone would rock and they might well be working on it but this story offers no credibility to the rumour.

Bobby Hull banned from Summit Series

London Free Press: Soviet win in Montreal slap in face to Canadians

This is a look back at the 1972 Summit Series between Canada and the Soviet Union. There's a mention that Bobby Hull was banned from being selected onto the Canadian team by Clarence Campbell, then NHL-president, because he "defected" to the upstart WHA league.

I had never heard about that! Wow. I wonder if that's why Brett Hull, who has dual-citizenship, has always chosen to play for the USA... because his dad was not allowed to play for Canada.

Hm.
