Cool screenshot utility for Mac OS X

I saw a co-worker using Constrictor, and was VERY impressed with the intuitiveness of this software.

For people doing documentation with screenshots, this is a VERY useful utility. (hint hint)

  1. Everyone I know who’s doing Mac-related writing with screenshots uses Snapz Pro.

Ok, Ok, but have you ever seen my favorite screenshot utility? Snapz Pro X (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/) is goujuss!

Does Snapz Pro X let you select an area of the screen to take a
screenshot of and have the area selected persist so that you can just
work on the subject of the screenshots and take snaps of the same area
without having to reselect the area each time?

(I haven’t used Snapz Pro so I have no idea)

I found that to be a very excellent feature.

If you’re asking if it remembers the area that you last captured, the answer is yes.
