RE: Procrastinate

I finished reading The Procrastinator's Handbook on the plane today. I can't believe how fast I read that book. I read nearly 100 pages on the plane... they're small pages, but still, that's a lot for me, I'm not a speed-reader.

I felt so renewed when I finished it. I think I'll skim the book again with a highlighter and sticky flags so I can pull out the gems and put the recommendations into action.

I arrived in Phoenix, AZ today, I'm visiting Jodi and Steve! I'm having a great, great time...

Well DICK Tator, it's a good thing you haven't declared war on anyone. When is it responsible to criticize the government?

The Case for the Empire

Jonathan V. Last, The Weekly Standard: The Case for the Empire

Jonathan argues that The Empire are the good guys and the Rebels and Jedi are the bad guys.

If you think order is more important that freedom and liberty, I can see how you might think that. And since the real world has been happily trading in its freedom and liberty for order and "security" over the last 8 months, and Imperialistic superpowers have been flexing their muscles cheered on in a Starship-Troopers'esque public display on TV, I can see how someone could possibly lull themselves into believing The Empire was righteous.

But not me.
