Matt Maldre blogs Pepsi Blue

Matt Maldre: Blogs: Pepsi Blue News and Updates

When I was a little kid (I had to throw little in there or else people would remind me I never grew up) my cousins and I used to love going to the grocery store that sold pop (soda for the American readers) in bulk. They had a berry flavor that was blue, and realllly good. We called it Smurf Pop. Well it looks like Smurf Pop is back! Yay!

RF Lighting sucks

Steve Stroh: A Potential "Extinction Level Event" For Communications Users Of The 2.4 GHz Band

Oh, lovely. Why the hell would someone make or want RF Lighting if there are so many negative side effects? If the gas station down the street installed RF Lighting and messed with everyone's cordless phones and WiFi, you can bet that someone will go down there with a baseball bat and remove the interference.

RE: I need advice on FireWire hard drives

I just chatted with Daniel from FirewireDirect.com.

He told me that I wouldn't be happy with the performance of any FireWire drive for booting either the PowerBook or the PowerMac... the performance is not close to fast enough to be acceptable.

So now I'm not sure what to do. Thank you Daniel and all who replied for your advice!
