RE: Spider-Man is Amazing

Whatever you do, do not see Spider-Man (or any action movie for that matter) on an IMAX screen converted to show movies at Edwards. It was really blurry, and they stretched the picture to fill the whole screen, rather than use the native 16:9 aspect ratio!

When there was something to read, like on the Daily Bugle, the text was so huge it was hard to discern what it was, I ended up not being able to read what was shown on the screen. It's a good thing I'd seen the movie already.

Also, the screen was noticably dimmer than the one at AMC. Not enough lumens. Yuck.

RE: Spider-Man is Amazing

Well, the person I was supposed to see Spidey with yesterday lost his phone yesterday and didn't get my message. But we're going to the 3 PM showing at the Irvine Spectrum, on the "Giant Screen".

Thwip! Thwip!
