We’ve got the know-how

Terry Jones, Edmonton Sun: We've got the know-how

"There are five Oilers and four Stars on Team Canada. They have a history. Now, playing together, that translates into a lot of character, respect for each other and maybe a world championship."

I bet that the World Championships are the real playoffs for the people in Edmonton this year. If Canada wins the gold here, it'll be almost as big as if the Oilers won the Stanley Cup. There are also 3 ex-Oilers on the squad.

eMac: e is not for education (only)

CNET: Apple's new eMac sports 17-inch screen

This looks like a great machine at a great price, but they must be making next to nothing on it... that's the only reason I could see that they would limit its sales to teachers, schools and college students. If they made a decent margin on it, I could see no reason for them to limit its market.

I remember when they sold the G3-All-in-One (Artemis) only to the education market. That was a really great machine, but normal consumers couldn't buy them. I saw quite a few of them at UVic.
