They really do hate us

Here's an eye-opening piece!

Mike Ulmer, Toronto Sun: Yes, Wayne, they really do hate us

His premise is - of course the rest of the hockey world hates us because we assume that winning is our right, that frankly, we treat the rest of the hockey world like the United States treats the rest of the economic world. I never thought of it this way, and maybe that's what makes it even more observant, because most Americans I know don't think their country takes that attitude with the rest of the world either. All or nothing, why don't you love our greatness?

Net-net, the other teams are fired up to kick our asses, so we better keep our heads up and our elbows ready.

I want Widescreen DVDs!

via BrainLog via Anita:

Petition: Blockbuster: The people want Widescreen DVDs!

Blockbuster is switching to and demanding pan-and-scan (ie: NOT letterbox) DVDs from studios. Why? This sucks. Please sign the petition.
