Edmonton Sun: Brown takes one for Tommy - Bloodied in tilt with Fedoruk

"In baseball that gets you a month on the disabled list. Brownie got cleaned up, sewn up and was back on the ice for the final two periods. And by game's end he was laughing about it."

RE: New Cocoa Book by the Big Nerd himself

The Big Nerd Ranch has issued a press release announcing their new Cocoa Programming book is available now.

I think it's really cool that the book is published by Addison-Wesley. I have a ton of computer books, and, while I have more books from O'Reilly than any other publisher, I'd have to say the most consistently excellent books, from the most distinguished authors, come from Addison-Wesley. I also think it says something special about Cocoa and Mac OS X that Addison-Wesley would publish a book about it.

TV tonight

I watched The Weakest Link tonight. The women actually forged an alliance and voted off the men one by one, even though one of the women was the weakest link 3 rounds in a row. That stupid strategy ended up costing them a lot of money because the real weakest link kept on dropping their bank down to $0.

After that was the 2nd part of Titanic. I had to stop watching, though. That movie is just too tragic and sad for me to watch. I don't have the energy to endure it right now. :-(
