NY refuses $10M donation from Saudi Prince

CNN.com: FBI warns of new terrorist attacks in next several days

'Giuliani said later Thursday the city would not accept a $10 million donation toward disaster relief from Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal after the prince suggested the U.S. government's policies in the Middle East were a factor leading to the attack. "I entirely reject that statement," Giuliani said.'

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is a major US high-tech investor. Among other investments, he has a 5% stake in Apple.

Yahoo: NY Rejects Saudi Prince's $10M Check

Sorry, but just because someone has a different political opinion than you doesn't mean you shouldn't accept a donation, especially when he's the Prince of a ally, a major US investor, and states he's fully behind the US.

Michigan legislator says use Macs

MacCentral: Michigan legislator says use Macs

"Rep. Vernon Ehlers (R-Michigan) offered a more pragmatic approach -- use Macs. Noting that he never even thought about Y2K issues, Ehlers also told his colleagues he's never had a problem with computer viruses, either."

Go Vernon Go! ;-)

Fewer Canadians in NHL than ever

CNNSI.com: Canadians in NHL reaches all-time low
