Living in a van…

Just finished watching SNL remembers Chris Farley. I was pissin' myself laughing. I miss Chris.

Update: I didn't reallllly piss myself. That was hyperbole. ;-)

Maple Syrup

My friend Peter stayed the night last night, he left this afternoon to return to Canada after his week in San Jose for WWDC.

He brought us some authentic Canadian Maple Syrup. Oh man, that was sooo appreciated, a couple of weeks ago we ran out of the syrup my parents brought back from Halifax last year.

We had waffles for breakfast. :-)

Cold

I got a cold/flu on Wednesday, it wasn't bad until midway on Thursday. I wonder how I caught it... going on the bus to/from work everyday, or going to WWDC Tuesday evening and Wednesday.

Thankfully the headache and muscle aching is gone now, but I'm still very congested. I've been sick 2 or 3 times since moving to SF. Jean suggests it's the stress of moving, so many changes in my life. It could be the public transportation too. I want the colds to go AWAY!

OmniWeb licensed

I purchased a license for OmniWeb 4.0 for Mac OS X today. If you're using it daily like I am, please think about licensing your copy as well.

OmniWeb won two Apple Design Awards and WWDC last week. WTG Omni!

XMLRPC-J now BSD OSS

On May 20th, Brian Manley announced a commercial XML-RPC stack for Java called XMLRPC-J.

Yesterday, Brian Manley announced that XMLRPC-J has been rereleased under a BSD-style license!

There are quite a few XML-RPC stacks for Java now.
