RE: Fewer wired homes

Well, obviously it was too much to ask to have my DSL turned on when it was supposed to.

My first order for DSL was incorrectly cancelled, and apparently blocked the completion of the second order in the "ASI" department. The block had been cleared from all the systems but that one. So, now I have to wait another 10 days for DSL.

ARGH!!! How do people here live with such unbelievably shitty customer service everywhere? It doesn't matter where I go, everything is a pain in the ass... PG&E, PacBell, AT&T, PacBell DSL, Blockbuster, Bank of America, even Pizza Hut!

I understand why UserLand would cut of the bots, but I don't understand why Dave is telling people that Seth is wrong. The evidence is conclusive.

In today's Scripting News, Dave claims UserLand has no clue why Google has deindexed them, even though they acknowledge the reason elsewhere. Why do they do that? I don't get it.
