Living an "Office Space" moment…

Yes, I know about the new cover letter for the TPS reports!

Okay, in my case, the new cover letter is the new company registration process to go along with a new single-login app design, but it's the same scenario... I've got everybody stopping by my cube to remind me that it needs to be changed.

LOL! Suckin' it up baby. Smile Smile Smile.

US drops investigation against GM

AUTONET.CA: US drops investigation against GM

Despite evidence of danger, federal safety regulators dropped an investigation that could have led to a recall of certain model General Motors trucks in exchange for a payment of US$51 million for safety programs.

Wonnnderful. BTW, if you want the formula for deciding if you recall or not, watch the movie Fight Club. Tyler knows it.

CamWorld: Thinking Outside the Box

April 25th's CamWorld has a great bit about LDAP vs. Jabber and MS Passport (die Passport die).

I don't read CamWorld as much as I used to because Cam demanded to have his records expunged from the weblogs.com/userland.com databases and therefore his site doesn't show up on the SubHonker Filter, which uses the weblogs.com data.

Uh, wait a second.

CamWorld is showing up on the Fan-Favourites page again, meaning the record is back. And look, the email address for CamWorld is listed as "webmaster@userland.com". I just checked with Cam, he didn't ask UserLand to add his info into their database. I guess the UserLand crew just can't get enough of CamWorld. ;-)

Not out to lunch, back to rabbit food.

The engineering team at NetStruxr goes out for lunch every day. Since I started working here, I've been joining them. (The food is almost always great, and so is the conversation.)

Since I started working here, I've been gaining weight.

Today I stayed behind, with a nice homemade chicken salad for lunch. I HAVE to get back to my diet, so this is a necessary step. Now I just have to find a gym somewhere close to home so I can start exercising again.

The other benefit is I won't be spending so much money on food. I didn't budget for eating out when I decided to move down here, and some of the places in the area are pretty expensive.

It's not easy being a single-income family in San Francisco.
