I'm entering this in Sun's HotJava 3.0
web browser running on Mac OS 9.0.4 with MRJ 2.2.4.

The performance is on par with the native browsers, either proving how fast MRJ is,
or how slow Mac OS web browsers are.

Having used OmniWeb
on Mac OS X, I'd have to lean towards the latter.
