Igali wins Canada’s first gold in wrestling
CBC Sports Online: Igali wins Canada's first gold in wrestling -- "Celebrating after the match, Igali raised the Canadian flag high over his head then placed it on the mat and kissed it in a homage to his adopted country."
And Daniel Igali might well be the second-most patriotic Canadian in the world. Thank you Daniel. These are the kinds of people I want to raise my children to idolize.

Don Cherry: Canadian athletes need more help if they're going to win medals
"You want me to sit here and say we're doing great? I think we're doing awful. God love our athletes, but how many medals have we got?" Cherry said. "It's ridiculous. Countries that we're sending care packages to are beating us in the gold. It's ridiculous."
This is why I love Don Cherry. The most patriotic, straight-up Canadian in the world. I can't wait for Hockey Night in Canada on CBC, especially Coach's Corner with Don Cherry and Ron McLean.

Scroll down to the message from "NtroP" posted "09-29-2000 07:48 PM". Apparently it works! I don't have AirPort, but thought this would be helpful to those who do.
By the way, I found that link at osx.macnn.com which is a wonderful resource.
ADC Select Program Promotion ends today
The more I use the Mac OS X Public Beta the more I am impressed with it.
A couple of weeks ago I joined the ADC Select Program. That usually costs $500 for a 1 year membership. Apple has a promotion on right now that makes it only $400.
This promotion ends TODAY. If you're considering Mac OS X Development, I encourage you to sign up.
It's a really good deal, and right now it's especially sweet because Apple includes the OS X System Overview book and a nice OS X T-Shirt in the orientation package.
Of course it also includes the OS X Public Beta and the OS X Developer Tools CD. (note the Developer Tools will be available for free download in mid-October)
Another benefit is being able to purchase WebObjects for only $399 intead of $699. Metrowerks tools are also discounted, as are WWDC passes.
