iamcanadian:

Hey, I'm not a lumberjack, or a fur trader. I don't live in an igloo, or eat blubber, or own a dog sled. And I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada, although I'm certain they're very very nice.

I have a Prime Minister, not a President. I speak English and French, NOT American, and I pronounce it about, not "a boot".

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack. I believe in peacekeeping not policing, diversity not assimilation, and that the BEAVER is a truly proud and noble animal!!

The touque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch, and IT IS PRONOUNCED ZED! Not "Zee", ZED!

Canada is the second-largest land mass, the first nation of hockey, and the best part of North America!

My name is Jim, and I AM CANADIAN!

Thank you.

Okay, now let's hear Joe's version!... (QuickTime 4 req'd)

BeOS R5. Downloaded it. Installed it. It Created the Boot Disk. It said I should reboot first, so I did. Found the "Start BeOS 5" icon on my desktop, and clicked it. It rebooted my machine. Saw the BeOS boot screen, but when it looked for the boot volume, it couldn't find it. It kernel panic'd. Fuck it.

CNN: University uses Backstreet Boys to 'torture' students. There's no way I could survive that kind of inhumane treatment. I'd crack for sure. (via Faisal)

I think I'm approaching weblog burnout. Either there's nothing interesting happening from my perspective, or there is but I can't bring myself to write about it.

It doesn't help when the energy you do spend goes nowhere.

Another excellent article from MacOPINION: Apple Can Make a Difference: Part 3 What's Missing

Looks like I'm going to the Western Canada WebObjects User Group meeting in Vancouver on the 28th.

Q's link to the caffeine FAQ told me something I didn't want to know. Iced Tea has basically as much caffeine as Jolt cola! Those who know me know I drink a LOT of Nestea Iced Tea (cans).
