One of the neat things about tennis and baseball is that they don't use a clock. In order to win a match or a game you have to accomplish a specified goal. In baseball you need to get 27 outs and score more runs than the other team. The clock never runs out on a thrilling comeback. It ain't over 'til it's over.
He is SO right! That explains why I've always loved the brand of road-hockey where you play "first to 10 goals wins"! That's so much cooler than "we'll play til we have to go back to school".
