Canadian Wrestling Fans Get Unwanted Porn Show: "The accidental broadcast on Sunday drew complaints from parents who were still leaving theaters with their children when it appeared on the screens."

"It was very graphic," Colleen Allen told the Vancouver Province. "My 11-year-old was devastated. ... Little girls were coming out crying."

My question is, what the hell are 11 year-olds doing at a WWF pay-per-view event? That stuff is hardly suitable for youngsters. Yes, I watch it myself from time to time. Last night on RAW is WAR, an 80 year old woman "gave birth" to a dead severed hand, which prompted the other people in the room to throw up. Her "boyfriend" is a 500 pound former weightlifter. This stuff is already porn! Those parents got what they deserved for taking their kids to such a ridiculous show.

I hadn't trimmed my subhonker filter list in 6 days. One problem with it is you really have to "take care" of it -- if you don't trim it regularly it gets really hard to use.

Today I removed 30 of the new sites, and added 14, which I guess shouldn't surprise me since I would usually add between 1 and 3 sites a day when I was trimming it daily. Here are the ones I liked (again, 14 of out 44 in the last 6 days):

Neato, I only missed 7 days this month. Looking back at the archives of this site (just click on the months underneat the calendar) I figured out that's the most consistent I've been yet! Working from home has surely helped.

Apparently you have to be a member of this site to vote in the survey. :-(

If you're running an ETP site, put the text "noamazon" in your template to get the anti-amazon image like I have to the right, under the Members box. (Thanks to whoever created that graphic, fight the good fight!)

Wow! Now I really am looking forward to Mozilla! XMLTerm is like XTerm (yes, a command line client), but implemented with Mozilla.

XMLTerm supports "pagelets" - command line programs which emit HTML that will be rendered inline into your terminal window. Check out the screenshots. Innovative!

/. Book Review: John Wyndham's The Chrysalids. I read that book way back in junior high. I recently found my copy in a box while unpacking.

Apple Squandering the Advantage: "The only changes to input technology that have taken place recently around Apple are the crippling of the keyboard and the farcical round mouse that has made Apple the laughingstock of the industry."

Tog speaks about more than input technology, but that's my favourite quote.

Note: Tog's link will break once the article is moved to the backissues section. Sort of ironic, isn't it?

CamWorld leads me to JunkBox. It looks like a great site, but I'm not wearing my glasses right now, so I really can't tell what the person is saying. <squint/> I really ought to be wearing my glasses, but most sites are readable without them. I'm too lazy to go upstairs right now to get them.
