Tomorrow Microsoft will jointly announce SOAP, the Simple Object Access Protocol, with UserLand Software. SOAP (it might be renamed to something more marketing-friendly) is a superset of the XML-RPC protocol which UserLand has been pushing for well over a year now. Congrats to UserLand!
