Finally, some hockey news! (I just know you've been waiting for this ;-))

Bill Ranford has rejoined the Edmonton Oilers. He was the playoff MVP (Conn Smythe trophy winner) in 1990, which was the last year the Oilers won the Stanley Cup. If there's one goalie who can flop around on the ice like a dying fish like Dominik Hasek does, it's Billy. (See also the CNN/SI story)

Ron Low, who coached the Oilers for the last 5 seasons (IIRC), is the new coach and GM of the Houston Aeros of the IHL. I hope things work out for him there... I'm sure he'll be back in the NHL some day.
