On Scripting News, Dave Winer asks if people who maintain weblogs should be called weblogeers or weblogsters.

I prefer weblogger. It's funny he brings this up, because Iwas thinking the same thing last week when I was trying to come up with the name of this site...

I was pondering what a person that maintains a weblog is called...weblogger came to mind. So I played with the word "logger", and that led me to the classic Monty Python skit about the lumberjack. "I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay, I sleep all night and I workall day!" I considered calling this site "I'm a lumberjack", since both the lumberjack and I are from British Columbia - but then I remembered that our lumberjack friend also hung around in bars wearing high-heels, suspenders and a bra, and thought mayyyyybe that wasn't such a good name afterall :-)
