Stacks have to die! or at the very least they have to give you the option of being able to select view by hierarchical menu view. For me they are extremely useless. One, you can scroll when you are in grid view, so if your Application (of which I have a lot) doesn't make it in the ones shown, you have to view the folder. If your apps get put into their own folder, like many Adobe apps, you have to click the folder to open that in the Finder too... don't even get me started about my documents folder. Before I used to be able to open a particular document that was stored in one of the sub folders with one click... now again, I have to go to the Finder window and locate it in the newly opened window and then double-click it.

So for me and a bunch others, stacks are useless eye-candy because they don't accommodate for folders with sub-folders nor with folders with a lot of items. I shouldn't have to use a haxie to get this feature back.

And yes, I know Jim you will disagree with me and say that I should have less things in my folders or use Aliases or something for my apps, but I shouldn't have to do that. The dock can only hold so much which is why having the folders in the dock was the main point.
