    This isn't Citibank that is calling you people. It is Citibank, CIBC, MBNA, etc. that pays a third party call centre to call you. The number (1-800-283-1267) is owned by a calling centre called Gemma Communications based in Toronto.

    I have a friend that works there there and she has been assigned on occassion to listening to the voice mail where people leave their messages to get removed from their list. She is pissed off from listening to all the complaints in the voice on that 1-800 number.

    If you want to launch legal action against them here is their corporate Web site with contact details.

    Pretend you didn't here it from me.
