Update: The link below *now* points to a completely different story that has a completely different angle than the one I pointed to. That's very annoying!!

Yahoo! News: Pledge Ruled Unconstitutional

I found another URL that contains the important bits I was intending to link to:

The important sentence for me is: "The court also said that making the pledge optional is not a remedy, since it forces students to make an unacceptable choice between participation and protest."

I agree with that statement 100%.
