This saw brakes immediately when it touches organic material, amazing.

The author mentions but dismisses Mnesia, Erlang's fault-tolerant distributed database. People are defending it in the comments. Someone also mentioned CouchDB which also happens to be written in, yup, Erlang.

Twitter search, Hi Victoria!
Tonight I found out you can now search for people on Twitter by name, location, possibly more. I did a search for Victoria, and found a lot of really interesting people! And, unfortunately I found out a few days late that there was a BarCamp DemoCamp in Victoria on the 3rd.
I've followed a bunch of new people on Twitter whose blogs or tweets I found interesting. I also found out about TwitterLocal... this would have been an easier way than Twitter's search, oh well. :-)

erlang is a functional, concurrent, fault-tolerant programming language

If actions speak louder than words, just how loud is this letter?

Ouch. Sucks to be Maureen Downey, Rodger Jones and the Wisconsin State Journal Staff - they were nominated but the jurors had other ideas.
