Planes above

I live a few miles from SFO. Planes usually fly over our apartment dozens of times a day. But not yesterday. And not today.

I just heard a plane in the air. It frightened me. Is it a military jet, or a commercial plane?

The unknown sucks.

Q Daily News

Jason Levine: Q Daily News

"If you're in Manhattan, think about something seriously for me -- there was already a major blood shortage, and there will be an immense need for blood. Most hospitals have set up ways for you to walk in and donate blood today; please, if you're OK, and your family is OK, and you are just glued to your television, think about ungluing yourself, walking to your nearest hospital, and donating blood.

I cannot stress how important this is right now."

911 on 9/11

All day i kept thinking, "why today?". It's not the anniversary of anything historical I can think of.

Then I noticed in a site's url... 010911. That's today. It ends in 911. Horrible irony.

Reality

Reality kicked in last week... last Friday's deadline was moved forward three weeks. The good news is the product will be much better in three weeks because of that decision, but the bad news is I have yet another deadline in only three weeks! ;-)

I have an unrelated deadline at the end of Tuesday, so tomorrow is going to be crazy-day.

And I'm moving in less than 13 days! (twitch)
