CRTC eyes gripes over high-speed Net service -- "At issue is whether high-speed Internet access should be regulated like basic local telephone service. The CRTC sets minimum standards for local phone service because it is deemed essential to the quality of life in Canada."

Agilent sells Healthcare Solutions Group
PR (a couple days old but news to me): Philips to acquire Agilent Technologies' Healthcare Solutions Group for $1.7 billion... wow.
Agilent will focus on the communications and life sciences markets.
