Oilers deal Guerin for Anson Carter

Doug Weight, dreaming of what might have been, after his best friend and trigger man is sent to BostonOilers deal Guerin for Anson Carter -- "The Edmonton Oilers changed the face of their top-line Wednesday, by trading sniper Bill Guerin to the Boston Bruins for Anson Carter"

Damn!

I know why they did it, I just hate to accept it. Everyone knew that the Oilers 1st line was the top line in the NHL right now, they even said so on TSN tonight. But, this is business. Sigh...

Anson better have some big upside!

PS2

I rented a PS2 this afternoon, along with the games SSX, Tekken Tag Tournament, and NHL 2001.

SSX and Tekken Tag are pretty good, but... they're incrementally better than games on the PSX and N64, nothing major.

But NHL 2001. WHOA... it's amazing! The game comes to life... it's like watching TV, even down to movements on the bench, the coaches, referees, the crowd, everything. It's very cinematic.

Unreal. Check out these videos. They still don't do it justice.

Gotta get it!

Mr. Rogers

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood to tape final shows

I was never a big fan of Mr. Rogers (not that I disliked him or his show in any way), but it's still sad to see a show like Mr. Rogers finish up. "They don't make em like they used too."

WebObjects 4.5 Update 3

AppleCare Tech Info Library: WebObjects 4.5: WebObjects 4.5 Update 3 Overview

Finally! This fixes a number of problems with the "wotaskd" system that was introduced in WebObjects 4.5. The issues made complex deployments very challenging, and held a number of sites back at 4.0.1.

A lot of sites can now safely move to 4.5.
